Cyclists often struggle with managing multiple devices or apps for navigation, fitness tracking, battery monitoring, and entertainment. This creates distractions and reduces safety. There was a need for a centralized bicycle app that integrates all key features into a single, rider-friendly interface.
Enable users to track rides in real time (distance, speed, calories, route).
Provide battery monitoring for electric bicycles.
Integrate music control and streaming for entertainment.
Offer safety features such as emergency alerts and location sharing.
Ensure hands-free interaction with a clean, voice-assisted design.
Ride Tracker: Real-time speed, distance, and GPS-enabled route maps.
Battery Insights: Smart notifications for low battery and estimated riding range.
Music Integration: Seamless Spotify/Apple Music controls without leaving the app.
Safety Alerts: SOS button and automatic crash detection with emergency contact notifications.
Smart Assistant: Voice commands for navigation, music, and ride stats to minimize distractions.
Social Sharing: Ability to share ride achievements with friends and communities.
I created wireframes and prototypes in Figma, focusing on clarity and safety for on-the-go use. Testing with a small group of cyclists showed that larger buttons, quick-glance stats, and voice-enabled features significantly improved usability while riding. Based on feedback, I refined navigation, simplified the music player, and optimized the battery status display. The final design delivered an all-in-one bicycle companion app that enhances performance, safety, and enjoyment for cyclists.
