Users often struggle with navigating through multiple fragmented platforms to access fitness metrics, leading to confusion and limited engagement. Garmin’s smartwatch users needed a centralized, easy-to-use dashboard that not only aggregates health data but also presents it in a visually engaging and actionable format.
The main goals were to:

Ensure consistency across web and mobile dashboard experiences.
Enhance usability with a clean, user-friendly interface.
Improve user retention by creating a platform that encourages frequent engagement.
To achieve these goals, I focused on:
Information Architecture: Structured data categories for effortless navigation.
Interactive Prototypes: Designed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes showcasing dynamic charts and customizable widgets.
Visual Design: Used a minimalist style with bold typography and color-coded health indicators to highlight key metrics.
User-Centered Design: Incorporated usability heuristics and accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusivity.
The design process began with wireframing and prototyping in Figma, followed by iterative feedback sessions with the client. I developed interactive dashboards to simulate real user flows, which were tested with a small group of smartwatch users. Feedback led to refinements in navigation, widget placement, and visual clarity. The final design delivered a streamlined and data-driven dashboard experience, improving user satisfaction and engagement.
