Managing multiple smart health devices often leads to fragmented experiences, manual configuration, and user confusion. Users need to navigate through different applications or interfaces to set up, monitor, and update their devices. This lack of centralization increases the risk of errors and reduces overall usability in critical health management.
The project aimed to:
Create auto-detection & listing of all compatible devices in proximity.
Provide an intuitive dashboard for device monitoring and control.
Enhance user confidence and safety by reducing manual errors.
Ensure scalable integration for future devices and updates.
Deliver a clean, minimal interface optimized for healthcare professionals and individual users.
To achieve these goals, I designed:
Auto-Detection & Listing: The system automatically scans for compatible devices nearby and displays them in a clean, user-friendly interface.
Centralized Dashboard: A single screen to view device health, connectivity status, and usage statistics.
Smart Alerts: Notifications for battery levels, firmware updates, or malfunction detection.
Device Profiles: Detailed information and settings for each device, with easy toggles for configuration.
Scalable Architecture: Designed UI patterns that allow new devices to be integrated seamlessly in future updates.
I developed wireframes and prototypes in Figma to visualize device discovery and management workflows. Usability tests with target users showed that auto-detection reduced setup time by 60% compared to manual pairing. Based on feedback, I optimized the device listing layout, refined status indicators, and added quick-action buttons for frequently used functions. The final design delivered a streamlined and reliable device management SaaS solution, improving usability and safety in smart healthcare.
